Gulliver looks like a dark brindle lab but he?s actually thought to be a Mountain Cur on the smaller side, weighing about 45 pounds. This handsome guy was left to fend for himself in Connecticut Hill State Forest. He was found by a DEC officer deep in the woods, thin, hungry and so appreciative that he was rescued. Gulliver would do best in a home where he can be your only canine companion. And, a great companion he would be! Gulliver initially tested positive for heartworm but after 4 months of treatment is now NEGATIVE! Because it was a very low level he is being treated with Revolution which is an easy once a month application.
Gulliver is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations including rabies, DHLPP and kennel cough. He has been treated for fleas and worms and has been microchipped. The adoption fee of $150 includes the microchip.
